Susan Louw is a Struisbaai-based artist renowned for her detailed and expressive work in oils, pastels, and charcoal. Specializing in portraiture and wildlife, her art captures both the subtle intricacies of human expression where she loves to portrait the local fisherman with their catch.
Born in 1974 in Gauteng, Susan is a self-taught artist whose passion for art emerged at an early age. Even as a child, she displayed a remarkable eye for detail — an attribute that continues to define her work today.
Over the years, Susan has exhibited selected pieces in local galleries; however, her primary focus has been on commissioned artworks, where she brings her clients’ visions to life with precision and care.
