ABOUT THE ARTIST – JACOLIZE SWART

Jacolize Swart is a self-taught artist from Strand, Western Cape, who began her art journey in 2017 when she found a little time for herself. She fell in love with the process and enjoys being creative. Since then, she has grown into a multimedia artist, working with charcoal drawings and mixed media art that involves layering and combining various materials in a single piece.

She is also highly skilled in creating ink drawings using a toothpick. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, and she has completed many commissions. Her art has reached countries such as Namibia, the Netherlands, Australia, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, and Poland. She primarily creates beautiful landscapes, flowers, and portraits of people, each piece becoming part of her ongoing artistic story.
