About Wessel Marais

South African Artist Wessel Marais was born in 1935 in Magaliesburg,  South Africa. He took art lessons from the famous South African Artist,  Zakkie Eloff.

Wessel Marais painted subjects relevant to the South African people and landscapes.  His work work is extensively collected by private individuals and corporations in South Africa and internationally.

He passed away in April 2009.
