About Christiaan Snyman

A blank canvas turned into an explosion of vivid colours in a variety of different patterns – some with hidden sketches and others beautifully constructed to illicit emotion from those gazing upon them. This is one of many ways to describe SA artist Alfred Wessels’ work.

Alfred debuted his latest colourful pieces in Johannesburg,  where he used to paint and sold some of his paintings of flowers, more specifically his calla lilies.   Alfred got known because of his lilly-art work.

Alfred has been married to Marietjie for 30 years and has two sons and a daughter.   They resides on the Westrand in Gauteng, SA.
